BRP Ventures is a private holding and management company. We work alongside a select group of operating businesses to handle the back-office infrastructure that quietly determines whether a company runs well - finance, tax, legal, compliance, and operational systems, integrated into one practice.
Some of these are companies BRP has a direct ownership position in. Others are clients we serve because the relationship is strategic, synergistic with another business we're involved with, or because we're working toward a deeper partnership over time. A few are companies we've helped incubate from the inside.
What we bring is operational depth. We've built and operated businesses ourselves, and we run BRP the same way: as operators sitting next to leadership teams, not advisors sitting across from them. The work is in the details - and the details are where most companies break.
BRP Ventures provides the operational and strategic infrastructure that most growing companies build in-house too late, or never get around to building at all. Our four practices work as one - because in a real operating business, financial, tax, legal, and capital decisions are never actually separate.
Good financials aren't just about clean books - they're the foundation of every decision a leadership team makes. We work alongside our clients on accounting, cash flow, budgeting, margin improvement, and the operational systems that surround them. The goal is a business that's profitable by design, with numbers leadership can actually trust and use.
When needed, we also conduct deeper operational reviews: systems, processes, unit economics, and the friction points most companies have stopped noticing. We don't hand over a report and walk away. We help implement what gets identified.
Tax strategy is one of the highest-leverage areas of any operating business, and one of the most consistently underbuilt. We work with our clients on entity structuring, tax-efficient operating models, and long-term planning that aligns the business with the personal and generational goals of its owners.
For founder-owned and family-owned businesses, we also handle estate and wealth-architecture planning - structuring how value is held, protected, and transferred across time. The objective is durability.
In-house legal and compliance is rare outside of large enterprises, and it's one of the most useful capabilities BRP brings to its clients. We handle corporate governance, contract review and structuring, regulatory compliance, and the dozens of legal details that growing companies typically have to outsource at meaningful cost or let slide entirely.
Led by our general counsel, this practice functions as the in-house legal team for each business we serve.
On occasion, the relationship between BRP and a client deepens into a direct ownership position. When that happens, we structure the arrangement creatively - using approaches that respect what the founder has built and align long-term incentives between the parties. These are operator-led partnerships, not financial transactions.
This is not the center of what we do. The center is the management practice. But for the right business and the right relationship, BRP can become more than a service provider.
